All Pakistan Women's Association

All Pakistan Women's Association (APWA) has just celebrated it's 52nd Anniversary on March 4, 2000 commemorating our late founder Begum Ra'ana Liaquat Ali Khan.

In the field of Social Welfare, we are continuing to struggle for women's (human) rights against the so called "Honour Killing". The government has at last acceeded to declaring that the act of honour killing is a form of murder punishable by death.

We continue with income training to help empower women. Our services for Family Welfare and Health, including Primary Education are carried out in the rural and economically depressed urban areas. Since we receive no financial aid, our fundraising programmes are arranged alongside our workshops and seminars.
