Peace is?

Sleeping in a war-torn place
What will happen when I wake?
Will there be grief and sadness
Or will there be happiness and joy?
Will the sun shine
Or will there be darkness?

Will I wake up at all?
Will I live
Or will I die?
What will happen if I look?
I'm scared
It's dark
It's quiet
I can't hear a sound
What's happening?
I don't know

It is war?
Is it peace?
I have to look
But it's not clear

I open my eyes slowly
There is the world
Full and Clear
There is peace
No need to be scared
There is no war
There is no peace
But my eyes are still closed.
