ICW Elects Board Members in Ottawa

The International Council of Women met in Ottawa, Canada in June and elected:

President - Pnina Herzog, Israel

Vice Presidents - Senel Aksu, Turkey; Joan Belcher, Great Britain; Alison Roxburgh, New Zealand; Doreen Kissick, Canada; Eleanor Sumner, Australia

Treasurer - Shirley Munyan, USA

Assistant Treasurer - Zahra Zniber, Morocco

Recording Secretaries - Lois Hainsworth, Great Britain; Brigitte Polonovski, France

Voting Members of the Board - Elisabeth Acar de Lange, France; Eleanor Hauer Rona, Austria; Marise Paschoud, Switzerland; Pharinit Tantasetti, Thailand; Yun Sook Lee, Korea

Co-opted Members of the Board - Honoree Denise Epee, Cameroon; Cecillia Fernandez de Pallini, Colombia

In addition, there were elected the Coordinators of the five committees: Communications, Sustainable Development, Social Issues, Status of Women and General Well-Being and the 20 Advisors for the divisions of those committees.
