A letter from Russia from Lioudmila Trofimova and Elena Anferova

We were happy to meet PPSEAWA friends during the memorable conference in Kuala Lumpur last August. It was a real pleasure to participate in such a meaningful event. Since that time, we have been doing our best to acquaint the media, the local communities, state executives and friends and associates with PPSEAWA activities, which impressed us a lot. We gave a number of talks to radio and television and interviews to newspapers, telling about the women within the Asia Pacific region. Everybody has been amazed about the range of activities in Kuala Lumpur. All the women talk about PPSEAWA and are inspired to join the Association. We would be very pleased if you could let us know about the way to register the PPSEAWA Vladivostock Chapter, if possible.

We learned that PPSEAWA members possess bright personalities and they are active, which is an inspiration to us. We enjoyed all the countries' cultural presentations, as well as everybody's dancing afterwards. The video of the opening and closing ceremonies, plenary sessions and performances are very popular with our friends and community.
