Royal Buscombe; 45 year member of PPSEAWA
Photo of Royal Buscombe circa late 1960's which she sent to Vivian Hampton, then membership Chair of the Toledo chapter. Buscombe's note read, "I am looking forward to meeting the members of the Toledo group, perhaps not right away, but before the end of the year." The Chicago area chapter was not yet founded, so Buscombe in her wish to join PPSEAWA in the US after moving from Australia, joined the closest group to her home in Evanston.
