Mary Bergman, member of the Toledo chapter since 1986, died January 17, 1998 at the age of 81 after a long illness. She was the former owner and past President of Bergman Safty-Spanner Company which was founded by her husband in 1952. Mary enjoyed cooking, crafts and traveling, especially to Polynesian and Asian countries. She also entertained and cooked for international house guests over the years including immediate past international president of PPSEAWA, Thanpuying Sumalee Chartikavanij of Thailand.Preceded in death by her husband Wayne K. Bergman; she is survived by her daughters, Edie Pocse, Ginney Schlicher, PPSEAWA member and son, Wayne F. Bergman.
