As the Pan Pacific and Southeast Asia Women’s Association [PPSEAWA] celebrates our 80th Anniversary of founding in 1929, we can look back to see our growth and to the future to see our challenges. Our mission and goals remain steadfast; the support of women and children in the Asia-Pacific region through education, better health, balance in the environment and peace between its people. We in PPSEAWA are a United Nations Non-governmental organization [NGO] in Consultative II status under ECOSOC and align our goals with those of the UN agencies with which we work closely, UNIFEM, UNICEF, UNESCO and CONGO.
