Message from PPSEAWA Peace Ambassador
PEACE is defined by the presence of love, respect and understanding between people, and communities. When asked of a Halberg Youth Council Handicap student what peace meant to him, his reply “given the opportunity to do what I can do to achieve what a non-handicap person can do”.
Peace is the inner self feeling and belief, the positivity, it is removing the darkness and injecting the light into our world and those around us. It is about love for each other, calling for help, speaking out for your right, listening, learning, practicing respect and embracing diversity and protesting injustice.” PEACE is the absence of WAR.
In a world of war, retaliation and gun shots, fighting, paying evil for evil, we all need to pray for Peace and harmony, love and reconciliation, injustice and restoration. Let us all take action, bringing growth and prosperity to our homes, community, society and the world, through our day of prayer on this our, Peace Day, not only today but every day. Let’s encourage each other to TAKE ACTION, through prayer, in devoted action for a Beautiful World full of Nature’s Goodness for us all to take PEACE to heart.
Peace be with You today and always. God Bless us All.
In Love, Peace, Friendship,
Melanie Andrew-Swami
Peace Ambassador, PPSEAWA International
