There were more than ten countries including India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Taiwan, Laos, Philippines, and Vietnam joined the Asia Pacific Festival. Not only TECOLA directors and Taiwan Center Foundation of Greater Los Angeles and FASCA (http://www.ocacfasca.org/en/company.php) were invited to join the opening and closing ceremony, but also students from the Academy of Music for the blind were participated to perform “Where is the love” and “We are the world”. During the closing ceremony, the 7 years old girl from Nepal displayed her drawing on stage to promote the UN international Day of Peace.
We believe education is the best way to teach children and next generation to appreciate the cultural diversity and respect each other with love. Only by working together will we be able to cause a positive change in this world.
